A Bookish Survey, A Bookish Event & A Guest Reviewer!

The A-Z book-ish survey was created by Jamie at The Perpetual Page-Turner and it's super fun!
Author you’ve read the most books from:
Karina Halle-I absolutely loved her Artists Trilogy and Experiment in Terror series!

Best Sequel Ever:

Hands down, it's Taherah Mafi's Unravel Me!

Currently Reading:

Markus Zusak's The Book Thief for a read-along hosted by Wendy at The Midnight Garden-So far it's been amazing!

Drink of Choice While Reading:

Not really picky but coffee works always.

E-reader or Physical Book?

I'd have to go with physical books. I don't have an e-reader which means I read ebooks on my laptop. Nope, not comfortable at all.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:

Trevor from Pivot Point-Cute and dorky guys for the win! ;)

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

Heart on a Chain by Cindy C. Bennett

Hidden Gem Book:

Priya Kanaparti's The Dracian Legacy

Important Moment in your Reading Life:

Discovering Enid Blyton and book blogs.

Just Finished:

Me, Him, Them, & It by Caela Carter - I wasn't a huge fan of pregnancy books but this one changed my mind!

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:

Longest Book You’ve Read:

Whitney, My Love by Judith McNaught (Surprising because I thought it was The Host!)

Major book hangover because of:

Tabitha Suzuma's Forbidden-I couldn't get over that ending for weeks!

Number of Bookcases You Own:

None. I store my books in boxes.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

Divergent!

Preferred Place To Read:

Bed.

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:

“Sometimes I wish I could step outside of myself for a while. I want to leave this worn body behind, but my chains are too many, my weights too heavy.”
― Tahereh Mafi, Destroy Me

Reading Regret:

Not reading enough chick-lit or thrillers after getting hooked on YA books!

Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):

Vampire Academy's final book The Last Sacrifice.

Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:
Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and The Shatter Me series.

Unapologetic Fangirl For:
Warner.
If you haven't read Destroy Me yet, do it. Now.

Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:
Allegiant and Ignite Me. I can only pick one? Oh, well.

Worst Bookish Habit:

Skimming *cringe*

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:

I store my books in boxes so not quite sure how I'm gonna find the 27th...

Your latest book purchase:
Stieg Larson's The girl with the dragon tattoo

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
Dare You To by Katie McGarry-It was totally worth dragging myself though work the next day!

  1. Love the design and the way you brought in flowers to go with your name. Cute twist!
And I'm always happy to see love for Enid Blyton! I think I need to read the Shatter Me series soon, I feel I'm missing out.

  3. Wow those are some great hauls from both of you!
AND YES THE SHATTER ME SERIES OMG WARNER!! I really hope she ends up with Warner in Ignite Me, but I kind of feel like it could go either way at the moment. Also, SO jealous of those people who went to NYCC and got chapter samplers from Ignite Me.

  5. I loved reading this! And I also hate reading on a laptop. An e-reader is much better. But paper books are still the best :)
Thanks so much for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics
