Teaser Tuesdays (01) & Happy New Year!

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading & slightly altered by Coffee, Books & Lipgloss. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read

• Open to a random page

• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•Do not include spoilers
• Share the title & author too, so others can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This weeks teaser is from

Author - Katja Millay

Title - The Sea of Tranqulity

Published - Nov 13, 2102

Format - eBook, 352 Pages

Source - NetGalley for Review

So here's the teaser -
"I live in a world without magic or miracles. A place where there are no clairvoyants or shapeshifters, no angels or superhuman boys to save you. A place where people die and music disintegrates and things suck."

 and another one -

“People who go around advertising their birthday are douche bags. It's a fact. You can look it up on Wikipedia.”

I'm in LOVE with The Sea of Tranquility! It's amazing, anyone who hasn't still read this start NOW.The writing is beautiful and haunting....and Josh *sign*

I'm so glad I picked up this book,it might actually become one of my fave books for 2013!

& One More Thing....

  1. I've read this book and for some reason... it just wasn't for me. But it's getting great response all over so maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind when I read it :)

Great TT post & Happy New Year
    Thanks

  2. This was the last book I read before I started accepting reviews and it sucks that I haven't finished it. :( I hope I can get to it soon though, I've read a lot of great feedback about this. Thanks for sharing!
